Most KELC youth activities are occurring within the congregations. In each congregation, youth leaders are organizing their fellow young people to engage in the life of the church. Through meetings and camps, young people are able to share their ideas and work on shaping the mission of youth activities within KELC. Congregations usually hold a Holiday Youth Camp each years as a way to engage youth and collaborate with each other on ways to improve youth engagement within the church and in society.
Some significant outcomes of youth holiday camps:
1. Action plan for congregational youth activities for the year.
2. Discussion of issues facing youth, producing ideas for how to be more productive members of their communities and churches.
3. Election of Youth Leadership.
